Adams County Social Services / Child & FamilyCenter

Join with COFU For an Informational Meeting

Regarding the need for: FOSTER FAMILIES in Adams County

Date:   Wednesday, September 17, 2008

Time:   9:00-10:00 a.m.

Place:   First Southern Baptist Church of Northglenn

              10620 Washington St.

On any given day in Adams County, there are approximately 750 children who will not sleep in their own bed tonight or be with family members due to abuse, abandonment or neglect.

  • This meeting will involve a power point presentation discussing how children come into the Social Service System.
  • The process to become a foster family will be explained as well.
  • The Child & Family Center is also happy to take a similar presentation to individual churches upon request.

Adams County Social Services is in desperate need of more foster families who can provide safe and stable homes to children in our own community!

Not only does a Foster Family see MIRACLES in the lives of children who enter their home, but generations into the future are affected by the small window of time in which a foster family has the opportunity to teach, influence and love a child.
